Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leadership on Saturday said “Our party will continue fully safeguarding rights of Christians and believers of other faiths in accordance with principles of Last of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and sayings of Quaid-i-Azam.”
PML President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi in their joint message while congratulating on the Quaid-i-Azam Day and Christmas that Pakistan Muslim League in the light of principles devised by Last of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and sayings of the Quaid-i-Azam will continue fully safeguarding the rights of believers of other faiths in the motherland.
Ch Shujat Hussain said that the entire nation displaying national solidarity should pledge to make homeland as Pakistan of the Founder of Pakistan the Quaid-i-Azam as the cradle of Islamic welfare state, peace and prosperity with the same spirit which had surfaced during Pakistan Movement.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that saying of the Quaid-i-Azam is that the path of our riddance is only and only Aswa-e-Husna of our beloved Prophet Khatam-un-Nabiyeen Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), undoubtedly Deen-i-Muhammadi (PBUH)is the way of life for entire mankind herein lies the basis of the state and justice for every segment.
Federal Minister Moonis Elahi said that the motherland is facing dangers from all sides, every Pakistani is duty bound to give priority to security and national solidarity of Pakistan over and above the religion, politics and nationality, we will have to distinction between the lovers of Pakistan and those causing damage to it.
The PML leaders also extended special felicitations on the Christmas to the Christian brothers and said that the role of Christian brothers is also very important in the security of Pakistan.
