Shafqat, Sarwar discuss party’s newly formed organizational structure

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Federal Minister for education and professional training Shafqat Mehmood had a meeting Sunday to discuss country’s overall political situation and ruling PTI’s newly formed organizational structure.
According to details, Chaudhry Sarwar and Shafqat Mehmood advised opposition to wait for the election 2023 instead of agitation on roads. They made it clear that PTI-led e government will complete its constitutional term. “General elections in the country will be held on time” both the PTI stalwarts stressed.
Shafqat Mehmood was recently elected as new president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central Punjab. During the meeting, Sarwar appreciated the steps taken by Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood for a uniform education system throughout Pakistan and also congratulated Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on becoming the President of PTI Punjab.
He said that despite the worse situation arising out of Corona, Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken steps to make Pakistan economically strong and prosperous.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that the people have given a mandate to the PTI government to rule for five years and it is the constitutional and democratic right of the PTI government to complete the constitutional term. Political opponents should also wait for the next general elections in the country instead of agitation on roads. Protest has never been a threat to the government before and we will not be afraid even now.
Shafqat Mehmood, while talking on the occasion said that he was grateful to Prime Minister Imran Khan for expressing confidence in him. “I will keep the trust of the party leadership along with strengthening the party structure across Punjab, the workers will also be given their due respect and dignity.” He concluded.
