PESHAWAR
The health department on Wednesday notified Hospital Empanelment Grievances Redressal Committee to oversee hospitals/ institutes complaints about empanelment under the Sehat Card Plus program.
The Director Independent Monitoring Unit (IMU) will be the chairman of the five member committee.
Deputy Secretary Drug, health department, deputy director (M&E), and Director General Health, and deputy chief HSRU have been made members of the committee.
According to Terms of Reference (ToRs) the committee has been tasked to review the process of empanelment carried out since July, 2021.
“Work as permanent platform for grievances redressal for any individual cases referred by the Department in future,” it added, that members of the committee will review the process of hospital admissions and would suggest measures for improvement and transparency in the Sehat Card Plus program of the provincial government.
