KHYBER: Including four real brothers, six persons were shot and dead by unknown persons here in Sadu Khel village of Landi Kotal, district Khyber last day night. According to the Station House Officer, police station Landi Kotal Ishrat Shinwari last night unknown armed persons opened indiscriminate firing on the persons loaded in a vehicle. Four persons were killed on the spot while one injured succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital and the one passed away in hospital in Peshawar. Soon after the incident, SHO along with heavy contingents rushed to the site, cordoned off the whole area and shifted the wounded and bodies to the headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal for medico-legal formalities. The deceased were identified as Afsar 40,Sheenzar,35,Mirmat Khan,60,Niazyan,45 sons of Kohat,Mukhabir,25 son of Swalzareen and Malay Khan,35 son of Tawer Khan while Monshi Gul s/o Mirmat Khan got injured who was referred to Peshawar hospital for medical aid, Rescue 1122 officials informed. The police officials lodged a First Information Report against the unknown killers and initiated investigation, the officials told.
