MIVIDA Pakistan inaugurated Jamia Masjid Mohammad (PBUH). The mosque is located at main Chakri road; the two stories mosque is spread over total area of 15 kanals with covered area more than 17,000 square feet. The inauguration was done by Honorable Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman. On this auspicious occasion he gave Friday sermon and led Friday prayers also.
MIVIDA is Pakistan’s first eco-sustainable city with smart progression. The project aims towards providing luxury living while contributing towards environmental protection and technology promotion. Further, MIVIDA’s leadership envisions using this project as a way to spread message of peace and prosperity.
One of the basic facilities in any project that offers community living is of mosque. It’s a point where devout can express their love, people in the neighborhood get a chance to know each other and above all it’s the source of spreading religious light.
Understanding this, Jamia Masjid Muhammad (PBUH) has been developed not just as a basic facility designed in the most aesthetic manner but it is also a source to spread message of peace and promote values taught by Islam.
The mosque is spacious enough for 1,000 people to offer their prayers at same time, with dedicated space for women. It also has 2-bed luxury bedroom for Imam, 1 room dedicated as khadim room, study and meeting rooms.
For convenience of namazi the mosque has been equipped with central heating and air-conditioning which operates on solar panels. The ablution point recycles water, hence preaching message of moderation and conservation and keeping project values intact.
Jamia Masjid Muhammad (PBUH) also has an extension that will be used as madrassa (religious school) where 400 Pakistani and foreign children will be given religious as well as current national curriculum-based education free of cost.
The setting has capacity for students’ accommodation, science, computer and Islamic library with wide arrange of publications to further enhance their knowledge and exposure.
