Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid has been tested positive for Omicron Tuesday.
The Omicron variant was confirmed in the genome sequencing conducted at Punjab Reference Laboratory after she tested positive. She has quarantined herself at her home.
Dr Yasmin Rashid had participated in different anti-dengue meetings at the official level. She had completed anti-Covid vaccination.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Wednesday telephone called Yasmin Rashid and asked about her health. Punjab CM passed on good wished to the provincial minister.
