Mardan: Muhammad Asim Khan, a citizen of Mardan has alleged Defence Ministry’s section officer Mian Usman Ali Shah of allegedly trying to occupy his land with the convenience of local police and demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action and provide him with justice. Addressing a news conference at Mardan press club, Mohammad Asim Khan, resident of Iram colony accused that defence ministry’s section officer Mian Usman Ali Shah allegedly wanted to occupy his land and plot. He added that mentioned bureaucrat had the support of Shoaib Hussain, an alleged local criminal, who is absconder in three first information reports (FIRs). Asim said that Shoib and his companions had allegedly kidnapped and tortured him. He said that police was not cooperating with him and wasn’t registering his FIR. “Later on police registered case against them but did not charge them in the relevant section” Asim told reporters. Asim accused that Mian Usman Ali has the backing of some ministers of the ruling party, and the Mardan police. “Police Officer Muqadam Khan told me that I was innocent but due to pressure they cannot proceed the case” he claimed.
