Punjab Assembly member from the ruling PTI Hamid Yar Hiraj Friday took oath as provincial minister.
According to details, oath taking ceremony was held at Governor House Lahore where Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar administered the oath. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and member of provincial cabinet were also present.
Talking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar said that there was no threat to the PTI government from any protest. Antigovernment protests and sit-ins failed previously and in future opponents will not get anything except failure.
He said that PTI government will complete its constitutional term and the general elections in the country will be held on time and the people will decide the next government by the power of their votes.
Sarwar said that incumbent government has saved Pakistan from economic bankruptcy and all the international institutions are appreciating the successful policies of the government for economic stability.
