PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the deaths occurred in the vehicles stuck up in rush at Murree and Galiyat due to heavy snow fall.
In a statement issued here Saturday he said the deaths of the citizens in the vehicles stuck up in heavy traffic at Murree and Galiyat due to snow storm is tragic incident of incompetence and criminal negligence of the administration. The incumbent government lacks administrative competence so much that it is unable to ensure traffic arrangements in Murree and Galiyat
When it was in the knowledge of the government that the citizens were stranded in this terrible cold then why it did not try to rescue them and shift them to safe places, he questioned.
If government has no potential to make arrangements for one thousand vehicles then it has no right to stay in power, he added.
When the tourists were going to Murree and Galiyat in such large number then why the government remained ignorant about them, he held. The administration was sleeping where and why the arrangements were not made in advance.
A government which can not save its citizens stuck up in traffic rush how can it steer out people from mire of inflation, he questioned.
This is not death but it is tantamount to deliberate killing, he remarked.
