In a meeting with Dr. Babar Awan, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that parliament shall play its constitutional role for resolution of issues and betterment of public. Legislation, agenda of today’s session of National Assembly and issues of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. It is decided in the meeting to allow opposition to give their views on Finance Amendment Bill freely. Steps shall be taken to get approval of pending bills from Standing Committees on priority basis. Period of 130 days shall be completed as per constitution.
Speaker further said that parliament shall play its best role to come up to the expectations of public.
