Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz said Monday that no financial corruption of even a single penny was proved against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership, demanding Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government to clarify on serious ‘corruption allegations’ in PTI foreign funding case.
“It’s time to hold those accountable who risked national security and pulled masses into hole of inflation” Hamza said, in a statement on Monday.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his corrupt companions should get themselves ready for accountability.
Talking about Lahore’s bomb blast, Hamza said that revelations made about Safe-city cameras being dysfunctional are shocking. “Report submitted before Punjab Assembly also confirms that 30 percent of safe city cameras are dysfunctional” he said, adding that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s incompetency had ‘engulfed’ the public interest project.
Hamza Shahbaz claimed that Pakistan’s progress and prosperity was willfully harmed by ‘imposing’ current PTI-led government. “Their focus is on political victimization, threatening opponents, and committing financial corruption” Hamza said.
“Yesterday, a defeated man was covering his incompetence and failure up by giving useless lectures” he said, referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech on Sunday.
