Lahore: A suspect named Mudassar who was wanted in more than 55 cases was killed during an alleged police encounter that took place in Defence area, media reported on Tuesday. According to SP cent, four robbers riding on two motorcycles committed the crime in Burki area. The Cent Division was cordoned off and patrols were alerted to arrest the robbers. Upon reaching the Defense C area, the robbers opened fire on a police vehicle as soon as they saw the police. The police further revealed that the dacoit was killed by a bullet fired by his own accomplices. The two robbers on the second bike and the third robber escaped on foot taking advantage of the fog.
