Karachi: Shuttering of under-construction house collapsed in Karachi’s Defence Khayaban-e-Nishat area, media reported on Saturday. According to media report, shuttering of a building under construction in Defense area of Karachi collapsed and several workers were buried under the rubble. According to police, the incident took place in Karachi’s Defence phase-VI Khayaban-e-Nishat area, when the entire shuttering fell down due to the contractor’s wrong plan. As per media report, several laborers have been trapped under the rubble, however, body of one worker has been recovered. According to initial reports, several of the 12 workers were buried under the shutters and debris of the shuttering. Rescue sources said that one person was killed in the accident and his body was recovered while others Rescue sources said that two persons have been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
