Monday laundering case
LAHORE: Special Central Court (SCC) Lahore has extended interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till February 10 in money laundering case. The court has directed to provide copies of challan to the accused on next hearing. Judge Ijaz Awan of SCC took up for hearing the interim bail petitions of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz. Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the court and got his attendance marked. However Shahbaz Sharif could not appear in the court due to corona virus. He filed application for exemption from attendance. On being inquired by the court the counsel told Shahbaz Sharif is infected by corona virus since the last 7 days. Tomorrow his test will again be conducted. The counsel for FIA took the plea the court can cancel the bail on non appearance of the accused. Counsel for FIA gave statement during the hearing of the case he is ready to argue on bail application. The counsel for the accused prayed the court to adjourn the proceedings. The court extended the interim bail plea of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till February 10. Online
