Police have registered more than a thousand cases against drug pushers and seized 42 kg of ice, 575 kg of hashish, 111 kg of opium and more than 48 kg of heroin in operations.
CCPO Abbas Ahsan, while expressing satisfaction over the action taken so far during the ongoing crackdown, directed to further intensify the rehabilitation campaign for drug addicts.
He also directed to conduct special walks and awareness seminars in educational institutions under the drug awareness campaign.
