Police trace woman with nail hammered into head

Police claimed to have traced the husband of the woman, who was brought Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) with a nail hammered in her head. According to police the couple belongs to Afghanistan and currently residing in Faqirabad, an area of the provincial capital.
Police investigation revealed that on February 4, a woman was brought to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment with a nail attached to her head.
After her photos went viral on social media, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) directed an investigation into the tragedy. Initially, all the cameras of the hospital were checked as the hospital data record did not contain any information other than the name and address of the victim.
In the light of the statement of the victim’s husband, it was decided that both the spouses should undergo a medical check-up by a psychiatrist while the husband of the woman has also been interrogated. The husband and children of the woman were presented before the media in Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar.
According to the police, the victim identified herself as Baz Gul on the hospital receipt. The woman has three children, including two sons and a daughter. The ages of the children are nine years, three years and two years respectively.
Peshawar police said that the staff of LRH was also be questioned in this regard as to why they had not reported the incident to the police on time.
According to CCPO Abbas Ahsan, special teams were formed to investigate the incident and search for the fake faith healer who had hammered nail into her forehead.
