The Mathra Police Station arrested a person allegedly involved in the killing of Zubair, who was killed by unknown assailants a few years back. Police investigation claimed that the accused Zakir Hussain belongs to district Mardan and allegedly involved in the killing of Zubair.
According to the details, Mathra police had found the body of slain Zubair a few years back, who was brutally murdered and dumped in the desert. Javed Khan, SHO Mathra Police Station said that the accused identified as Zakir has been arrested on tip-off and during the preliminary investigation he had confessed to the crime of killing Zubair.
Similarly, during another successful operation, SHO Mathura Javed Khan arrested an Afghan accused Khasweed who was allegedly involved in supplying ice to a specific customer in the suburbs of the provincial capital. He said that police have also recovered 215 grams of ice from his possession and a case has been registered against the Afghani national and investigation for further information underway.
