PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Thursday reported 741 fresh Covid cases taking the active infection count to 11,814, according to a health department report. With 10 Covid-related fatalities, the death toll in the province has reached 6,177, the report said. All death cases reported from Peshawar during the last 24 hours, said the report. Among the fresh infections, Mardan reported 295 cases followed by Peshawar 204, Buner reported 58 cases. With 793 persons recovering from the Coronavirus infections in KP, the number of cured persons has reached 195,771. KP Covid-19 vaccine daily update said that a total of 15,357,494 citizens registered for vaccination in the province. It said that during the last 24 hours 38708 people were administered the first dose and 35122 people the 2nd dose in the province. It said that the total count of the coverage in the province has reached to 16838549 while 12062671 citizens of the province were administered the first dose of the vaccine against the Coronavirus.
