Two held over displaying weapons on social media

Police claimed to have arrested two persons allegedly involved in spreading terror and displaying weapons on social media.
According to the social media team of Peshawar Police, SHO Shahpur Police Station has taken immediate action and arrested both the accused who have confessed their guilt during the preliminary investigation.
It is important to note here that police in the provincial capital have launched a special campaign against the elements involved in displaying weapons at public places and social events.
Police take immediate actions against those who upload pictures including weapons on social media are also being targeted.
Shahpur Police Station SHO Shakeel Khan took immediate action on the identification of the accused involved in the display of arms by the social media team of the police and arrested two accused Osama and Amir.
A Kalashnikov and a pistol have been recovered from the area. Both the accused are residents of the outskirts of Peshawar.
Special banners have been hung on the police station buildings by the Rural Division Police to prevent display of weapons and aerial firing.
