Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi has said that it was the responsibility of the administration and all government departments to provide all the basic facilities to the people at their doorstep.
The provincial government has issued clear orders in this regard and the public can bring any complaint directly to his notice.
He was talking to callers while listening to the problems of the people of Bannu in a telephone live session today, said a handout.
On the occasion, a number of people spoke directly to the DC by telephone and brought to their notice their problems regarding various government departments.
Most of the complaints were related to drainage, sewerage and cleaning of drains, prolonged power outages, relocation of cattle markets and transport Addas outside the city, absence of some employees from duties.
DC Bannu listened carefully to the problems of the callers and issued immediate orders on the spot to resolve them.
