ISLAMABAD: Cabinet Committee on Energy on Friday reviewed Model Petroleum Sharing Agreement’s draft as per Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production 2012. According to details, the meeting convened under the chair of Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar. The body decided to tempt petroleum policy for enhancement in production of energy resources. A committee has been established in this regard under the chairmanship of Federal Energy Minister Hammad Azhar, which would review Pakistan Petroleum policy. According to a statement issued here, framework of Model Petroleum Sharing Agreement would enhance search of energy resources including oil and gas.
