Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has said the main cause behind the terrorism is extremism.
He tweeted “ the enemy makes the extremism weapon. The extremism is outcome of non playing their role by pulpit, school and police station.
The cooperation of parliament and judiciary is must in taking major steps by the state against the extremism, he added.
We will have to launch steps against extremism and we need consensus on this count, he remarked.
