PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has hinted out at barring the ‘Aurat March’ rally on March 8, citing security concerns, sources have revealed. The rally is carried out in all parts of country on March 8, International Women’s day, to demonstrate protests on issues like violence against women and their rights. Sources said administration has started making security arrangements for Peshawar Aurat March, and a comprehensive security plan has been dig out in this regard. Details of women participating expected to participate in Aurat March have also been collected by law enforcement agencies, sources say, adding that participants of rally are considering shifting the rally to other cities.
