Vice Chairperson, Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Dr Faiza Rasheed on eve of International Women’s Day felicitated all working women in different sectors and house women on this auspicious occasion and expressed hope that the women will continue to fight for their legitimate rights as per religion Islam and own traditions.
While addressing during a function held in connection with World Women’s Day at the party office Watan Kor here on Tuesday, Dr Faiza Rasheed said when PM Imran Khan was in opposition, he saying in every statement that those who had taken benefits from amnesty scheme are the major culprit and conspiracy against honest people of the country.
Similarly, she said the PM had also made a promise when they came into power, hold accountability of all those who took benefits from the amnesty scheme but it is highly unfortunate that this deed was called as anti-poor initiative, which was tantamount laying down arms before elite and occupant mafia.
Today, the QWP leader noticed that rulers calling the same amnesty scheme as a major step for poverty eradication and reflection of progress.
For the last four year, Dr Faiza said the rulers had continuously deceiving people and made promises to uproot the corruption forever and bring back the looted money to the country.
However, she made it clear that the people cannot be deceived anymore from these empty slogans.
The QWP leader said the opposition long march and no-trust movement had compelled the rulers to announce a relief package.
She said the people have fully well-judged that this announcement was also based on deceit and lie, which has no connection with reality.
