Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, Syed Ali Asad Gilani visited RCCI and called on President Nadeem Rauf. Senior Vice President Asim Malik, Vice President Talat Awan and Executive members were also present on the occasion.
The Ambassador discussed trade opportunities for Pakistani businessmen in various sectors including textiles, Pharma, Sports & Leather Goods, Agri Food and Tourism.
Issues related to banking channels, direct flights, road and railway network and information sharing also came under discussion.
On the occasion, the President of the Chamber Nadeem Rauf briefed the Ambassador on the ongoing activities of the Chamber. He urged for sharing information regarding trade opportunities in Uzbekistan.
He said that Rawalpindi Chamber continues to promote Pakistani products abroad through Single Country Exhibition and Made in Pakistan Exhibition and added that we should focus on non-traditional sectors as well. He stressed the need to share information on trade opportunities in Uzbekistan.
