Police attack is attack on parliament, constitution, no confidence motion: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said attack on parliament lodges is deplorable and the speaker is still silent on this matter.
“ parliamentary and democratic values have ended. Government is so much afraid that it is using every tactics. Speaker is still silent over this matter. Thursday attack is attack on constitution, no confidence motion, democracy and parliament, he held.

He went on to say parliament and parliament lodges are under National Assembly (NA) speaker. The police entered into it in a way Thursday as it is attacking on hideout of terrorists. Police entered into home of Salah Ud Din without any warning. Salah ud Din Ayubi, Jamal ud Din, Kamran Murtaza and Saad Rafiq were thrashed. This is another black chapter, he added.

Police manhandled Senator Kamran Murtaza and others and locked five members in a room, he indicated.

He held PM and ministers are hurling threats openly. In this situation speaker NA needs to announce about his neutrality. Speaker is neutral and is responsible for the protection of assembly and members of assembly.
Those who are bragging should listen we have brought no trust resolution. We are ready for it on holiday too.
I request the government employees they are employees of state. They should not become personal servant of PM and ministers and work as per constitution.

I want to tell IG Islamabad, interior secretary they will be accountable if any illegal step is taken, he cautioned.

No confidence motion is constitutional process and whosoever interferes, he will have to be answerable.

No offence is bigger than attack on parliament, he said adding therefore, you should the constitution and see the law. If it is repeated outside the parliament then people are ready to counter it here.

Government wants to escape no confidence motion but we will not allow it to escape, he remarked.
