PTI senior leader and former provincial minister Aleem Khan has held an important meeting with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in London.
According to media reports and PML-N sources Nawaz Sharif has extended formal invitation to Aleem Khan to join PML-N.
Sources said the meeting continued more than 3 hours. Former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Hussain Nawaz son of Nawaz Sharif were also present in the meeting.
They discussed at length the prevailing political situation of the country, no confidence motion against the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Punjab situation.
The meeting was arranged by common friends. Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan together are likely to meet Nawaz Sharif within a few next days.
The two leaders have agreed on continuing contacts with reference to political future.
Aleem Khan informed Nawaz Sharif about his victimization and the injustices done with him during the last three years saying Punjab governance has become annihilated. Any thing in the name of merit is not over there. Corruption is at peak therefore, change in Punjab is must.
Nawaz Sharif said he will cleanse political filth from Punjab and Federation together with them.
Sources said Tareen group can take major decision within next few days. Aleem Khan had met with Shahbaz Sharif before leaving for London.
