PESHAWAR
The provincial president of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Najmuddin Khan on Saturday claimed to have lured more than 45 lawmakers of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly to its side.
Responding to the incident where a charged activist led by PTI lawmakers Faheem Khan and Attaullah attacked and entered the Sindh House in Islamabad, KP chapter president said that PTI has realized the fear of opposition.
Najmuddin Khan termed the PTI workers attack on Sindh House as an attack on the state and warned PPP workers could retaliate.
He expressed these views during a news conference at Lowari-House in Upper Dir. Provincial General Secretary Shuja Khan and Information Secretary Amjad Afridi were also present on this occasion.
PPP provincial president claimed the support of 45 lawmakers in the KP Assembly, adding after the center opposition will form a government in Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that the opposition after submitting a no-trust motion in the national assembly against the Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to remain on one page.
“The opposition is on one page and we are committed to save nation from an incompetent government,” he added.
Najumudin Khan said that the state institutions role was regrettable when PTI workers and leaders attacked the Sindh-House.
The PPP-KP chapter president said that incumbent government days were numbered.
