Fata Uni organizes ‘Paigham-e-Pakistan Conference’ to promote peace, harmony

FATA University organized a day-long “Paigham-e-Pakistan Conference”, here at the auditorium of the university at Darra Adam Khel aimed to promote peaceful society and ending of violent attitudes, terrorism and anti-national forces.
Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Dr Qibla Ayaz was chief guest at the conference.
Besides Vice Chancellor of FATA University Dr Jehanzeb Khan, academic staff members and a large number of students attended the event.
Speaking at the “Paigham-e-Pakistan Conference”, Chairman CII Dr Qibla has said that the voice of any nation could be heard in a dignified manner at every forum on the basis of promoting peace, trade and better economy.
“It is time for us as a nation to focus on these important factors,” he added.
He emphasized that the new generation needs to set the right goals for its bright future as those who depend on others in the world do not achieve their objectives.
The Vice Chancellor FATA University Dr Jehanzeb Khan in his inaugural address said that the modern age demands that the intellectual potential of the new generation be expanded in all respective fields.
The VC also said that it was imperative to expand the intellectual capacity of the new generation and make them aware of the aims and objectives of the Paigham-e-Pakistan and its need and importance.
He added that hatred, bigotry, intolerance and slander in the society which has to be prepared by the new generation to eradicate the growing trends for which teachers can play an effective role.
Other experts also spoke to the conference and highlighted in detail the aims and objectives of the conference.
