TANK
Provincial Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur on Thursday slammed Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI-F) for ignoring District Tank for the last 30 years.
On this occassion Farhan Hakeem Focal person for Fedreal Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapor ,Irfan Khan Kundi,Malik Amir Kot Allah Dad and PTI workers were also present.
Talking to media, Provincial Minister said that these people have repeatedly got elected by the poor people of Tank but they did nothing for their betterment.
He said that it was regrettable that the most elected representatives of the Tank district failed to bring any good for the poor local masses.
He said that PTI government has allocated more than Rs 700 million under beautification project but unfortunately development work delayed due to court stays taken by same JUI-F members of parliament. He said that under the project reconstruction of roads, nullah and clean drinking water projects would be set up.
The minister said that dialogue was in process with departments concerned for the construction of Tank Zam Dam. He said that Tank small dam project would bring green revolution in the entire region.
He said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would soon visit Tank to announce new development projects for district Tank. The minister also inaugurated roads beautification projects underway in Tank city.
Earlier, he also distributed Ehsas relief cheques and 30 thousands monthly stipend among each religious clerics of various Mosques.
It may mentioned here that JUI-F chief remained MNA from Tank for five times and his brother Atta ur Rehman also remained MNA from the same district and now son Mufti Asad Mahmood is MNA from this constituency. MPA is also of JUI-F for the third time from this constituency.
Despite a political hold of JUI-F for the last 30 years, the district remained neglected and deprived of all basic amenities.
