Colorful Sports festival, organized in connection with “Pakistan Day” celebration concluded here at Kunj ground last day.
The extracurricular activity was organized under the auspices of Sports Committee Kunj ground with support of the sports department.
Local players demonstrated their talent in games of Volleyball, Cricket, Tug of War and Athletics.
Large numbers of sports lovers witnessed the activities and widely praised the abilities of the players.
At the concluded day, Tehsil Chairman Landi Kotal Shah Khalid was the chief guest; besides district sports manager Rahidgul Mulagori was also present on the occasion.
The chief guest gave away prizes and trophies to winners’ teams and shining players.
According to the organizers, Irshad Khan, Tariq, Arshad Ali and others said that the sports competitions were initiated with the purpose to provide opportunity to the youth to utilize their energies in healthy activities.
They appreciated the role of the sports directorate, district sports department and local figures for assisting them to set up sport competitions.
Residents of the area appreciated the Sport Gala and urged for the formation of such kinds of activities on a regular basis to motivate the youth community towards sports acts.
