Governor Sindh Imran Ismael has asked Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Jam Abdul Karim upon his arrival to Pakistan.
Karim, who is currently in Dubai, is booked in the Nazim Jokhio murder case.
Young Nazim Jokhio was found murdered at the Malir farmhouse of PPP MPA Jam Awais in November last year. The MPA along with his MNA brother Jam Karim and others has been booked for allegedly torturing Nazim to death as he had tried to prevent his foreign guests from hunting houbara bustard.
According to media reports, The Sindh High Court on Friday granted 10-day protective bail to Karim.
On Saturday, Imran Ismael wrote a letter to FIA, demanding the investigating agency to put Karim’s name in Provincial Identification List (PNIL) and wrote that PPP lawmaker was booked in Nazim Jokhio’s murder case.
Letter states that it was in ‘public interest’ to add Karim’s name to PNIL, adding that lawmaker must be arrested upon his arrival in Pakistan and must be presented before the court.
