ISLAMABAD: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has suspended the supply of furnace oil to IPPs due to non payment of outstanding dues running into billion of rupees. Sources said IPPs is left with furnace oil stock for 4 days only. The energy ministry is making all out efforts to continue uninterrupted supply of electricity to the people during the holy month of Ramadan. DG Oil has written formal letter to energy ministry to release Rs 25 billion on account of outstanding dues of PSO till April 16. On the other hand Muzaffargarh, Saba Pak jin AND Lall Pir Power power plant is left with only two days stock of furnace oil. Online
