LAHORE: Senior Bureaucrat Abdullah Khan Sumbal has refused to accept the position of Chief Secretary Punjab. The apology has been sent to the caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar on Saturday. In view of transfer of Chief Secretary, Punjab government has proposed three names for the Chief Secretary in which Abdullah Khan Sumbah and Tahir Khursheed were added. Abudallah Sumbal has refused the position on the one hand while Punjab bureaucracy has refused to work under Tahir Khursheed supervision. Punjab bureaucracy said that, only those officials will work under Tahir khursheed, who wants to malign their Annual Confidential Report (ACR). Lahore bureaucracy said that Tahir Khursheed is a controversial officer, Punjab bureaucracy will get divided if he become the Chief Secretary. Online
