Interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif has been extended in money laundering case.
Monday laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz came up for hearing before Special Central Court (SCC) led by Judge Ijaz Ahsan Awan here Monday.
The court while extending interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif adjourned the hearing of the case till April 27.
Amjid Pervez counsel for Shahbaz Sharif filed application in the court seeking exemption from attendance.
He took the plea in the court he is leaving for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah therefore, interim bail be extended for long period .
The learned judge directed the counsel for Shahbaz Sharif to submit a written application in this regard in the court.
The learned judge remarked “ you should present the accused so that we could frame charges and take the case ahead. We have to see the file.
The counsel for Shahbaz Sharif said can Shahbaz Sharif be indicted or otherwise on the basis of evidence the FIA has mentioned in challan.
Azam Nazir Tarar told the court investigation is complete and report has been filed.
Prosecutor said we have received no directive so far.
The court while adjourning the hearing of the case till April 27 extended the interim bail.
