ISLAMABAD
Newly elected Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has extended invitation to MQM to join federal cabinet.
He made this offer during a meeting with MQM delegation at residence of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in parliament lodges here Tuesday.
MQM delegation comprised Wasim Akhtar, Amin ul Haq and Javed Hanif. Rana Sana Ullah, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Ayyaz Sadiq and Maryam Aurangzeb too were present on the occasion.
The PM said strong support from MQM is must to form and run the government adding “ we have to take you along with us. The agreement reached with you will be fully implemented and respected.
He invited MQM to join federal cabinet. Consultation was made on the ministries and agreement with MQM in the meeting.
PM is likely to visit Bahadar Abad in next few days.
