The Siri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena attended Joint Military Parade at Shaker Parian Islamabad as “Guest of Honour” along with Ambassadors from various countries.
A Joint Military Parade was held at Shaker Parian by Pak Army, Navy, Air Force and other paramilitary forces of Pakistan where President of Pakistan Mamnoon Husain, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif along with Civil and Military leadership participated.
Guests from Turkey, Malaysia,UAE and other Islamic Countries were also present on the occasion.
