Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has ordered inquiry into delay in Rawal Chowk Flyover Project.
PM Shahbaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to Rawal Chowk fly over project early in the morning on Saturday and reviewed the construction work.
A detailed briefing was given to PM Shahbaz Sharif regarding ongoing work on Rawal Chowk flyover project.
The PM while expressing annoyance over delay in the project ordered inquiry into the matter. if the project was not completed till September then (Allah Hafiz) we will all pray for it.
The project was started in October 2020 but the work could not be completed on the project due to inability of the company, he held.
Why the company was not blacklisted due to its inability, he questioned.
Projects like this were completed in six months in the past, he said adding we completed several flyovers in 72 days.
The projects of public interest should be completed in time, he stressed.
The poor masses money is being wasted and irresponsibility is being demonstrated to extreme extent, he remarked.
