ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday. During the meeting, both the dignitaries exchanged views on professional matters pertaining to the national security. “The professional matters pertaining to national security were discussed during the meeting,” the PM Office said in a statement. The Army Chief has given a detailed briefing to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the national security issues. This is the first-ever meeting between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Gen Bajwa after changing the government in the centre. Our Correspondent
