PPP while deciding not to get the post of governor Punjab has sought 3 ministries in Punjab.
A delegation of PPP called on Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Hamza Shahbaz. The delegation comprised speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Pervez Ashraf, Yousuf Raza Gillani,, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Ali Haider Gillani and Hassan Murtaza.
The PPP delegation congratulated Hamza Shahbaza on assuming office of CM Punjab.
The leadership of both the parties decided to go side by side.
An important headway has surfaced in terms of power sharing between PPP and PML-N.
As per PPP sources PPP has withdrawn from constitutional portfolios of Punjab. PPP has sought posts of special advisor more than 2 and 2 parliamentary secretaries posts and chairman ship of standing committee.
CM Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has assured full cooperation to PPP delegation in this regard.
He said allies are like our brothers and friends. The posts are transitory. Love for humanity should be priority. Constitutional and democratic norms will be moved forward with reconciliation.
Yousuf Raza Gillani said on the occasion Imran Khan ran away with wickets. We will try to take Imran Khan and PTI on board.
