Eid Milan Party was organized at Olympian Islahuddin and Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy. The Eid Milan Party was attended by a large number of former Olympians and International players including members of 1994 and 1984 World Champion Hockey Team.
Deputy Speaker Provincial Assembly and Provincial Minister for Women’s Rights Shehla Raza participated in the event as the Chief Guest. He also talked to the players.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he was impressed by the facilities available at Olympian Islahuddin Hockey Academy. He hoped that future stars would emerge from this academy under the patronage of Olympian Islahuddin.
Hockey is our national sport. We have to work together to regain our lost place. She said that he was also happy to see the women’s hockey team at the academy. Finally, he thanked Olympian Islahuddin for inviting him to the Eid-ul-Fitr party.
Olympian Islahuddin in his speech said that Eid-ul-Fitr brings happiness to us and today a large number of Olympians and international players are Attend in the event held on this occasion and most of them are players of whom I have been captain, coach and manager.
He said that Karachi Hockey Association and Top City One are working for the promotion of hockey in Karachi.They also form a men’s team. He also praised Haider Hussain, Secretary, Karachi Hockey Association.
Former national hockey team coaches Olympian Hanif Khan, Olympian Iftikhar Syed, national hockey team coach Olympian Sameer Hussain, national selectors Olympian Ayaz Mahmood, Olympian Nasir Ali, Olympian Wasim Feroze along with Olympian Kamran Ashraf, Olympian Kashif, Olympian Kashifwad Former International Players Tasneem Usmani, Liaq Ahmed Lashari, Mohammad Ali Khan, Pervez Iqbal, Abuzar Amrao, Faisal Waheed, Masood Rehman, Mohammad Sarfaraz, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Khalid, Secretary Karachi Hockey Association Haider Hussain, Gulfraz Ahmed Khan, Atmat Pasha, Chief Engineer Sindh Government Aslam Mehr, Syed Al Hassan, Rashid Yaqoob, Wasif Raza, Syed Saghir Hussain, Asad Zaheer, Muhammad Aslam, Mrs. Asma Ali Shah, Veena Masood of Pakistan Olympic Association, Former International Athlete Shaheen Fatima, Madam Saeedah Khanum, Imran Saleem of Top City One, Abbas Haider and others participated.
