ISLAMABAD: Chief justice Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah extended his stay orders, yesterday (Wednesday) to stop NAB court from further action in case against former President Asif Ali zardari on 8 billion dubious transactions. NAB prosecutor Jahanzeb Bharwana and Zardariĺs advocate Waheed Rajpar appeared before court, Zardari advocate requested court to postpone the hearing as Farook H Naik is out of country. While accepting the request with aforementioned steps, court postponed the hearing till 7 June. Worth mentioning here that NAB court has ruled out the acquittal request of Asif Zardari before imposition of conviction which he has challenged in Islamabad High Court. Online
