Pakistani players win two silver medals in Qatar Junior International Squash

Two players of Director General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Academy Muhammad Umair Arif and Huraira Khan grabbed silver medals in the recently concluded Qatar International Junior Squash Championship-2022 in Doha, Qatar.
Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Khan greeted the players for winning two silver medals in the Qatar Junior International Squash Championship. He said that the Directorate General of Sports, KP and The Bank of Khyber are also proud of both Muhammad Umair, the grand grandson of Hashim Khan and Huraira Khan. The players were selected for further training in June 2021 in collaboration with The Bank of Khyber and now they are proudly raising the name of not only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also Pakistan by performing at international level.
Mohammad Umair and Huraira Khan said that they are very grateful to the Directorate General of Sports for trusting on them and their coaches Muhammad Waseem, Alam Zeb Khan, Niamat Ullah Khan and Munawar Zaman.
Muhammad Umair Arif that the he is very thankful to his coach Muhammad Waseem and other coaches for training and coaching him and that is why he won silver medal in the U15 category in the Junior Qatar Open International Squash Tournament. He also attributed his success to the hard work of the coaches and prayers of his grandfather and parents.
He also thanked senior coach Tahir Iqbal who did his hard work with them in the Directorate of Sports Squash Academy. They said that they would continue their hard work to win back other international squash events for Pakistan.
