The people led by Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) leader staged rally to express solidarity with Pak Army in Serai Naurang tehsil on Thursday.
A large number of people participated in the rally led by WQP district chairman, Amir Zada Khan.
They changed slogans and carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans in support of the armed forces.
Speaking on the occasion, QWP leader said that the Pak Army was an institution which had no connection with politics, adding that some elements affiliated with certain political parties were involved in destrying the image, services and sacrifices rendered by the security forces for the stability and defence of the motherland in crucial times..
He maintained that such elements should stop forthwith their under-table tactics to drag Pak Army into the politics and to get cheap popularity.
The rally concluded at the Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk while passing by the Army ground.
