Punjab by-polls
LAHORE : Scrutiny of nomination papers of candidates for by-elections on Lahore’s four provincial assembly seats began Wednesday, with by-polls on twenty seats of the Punjab Assembly (PA) approaching. Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said scrutiny process will continue till June 11, and candidates may appear before Returning Officer to submit their nomination papers. The contesting candidates will be allotted with electoral symbols on June 23, while a final list of candidates will be displayed by the ECP on June 24. Online
