PESHAWAR
Under the auspices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Full Contact Karate Association in collaboration with District Sports Office Nowshera, All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Karate Open Championship has come to an end in Hakimabad Nowshera.
Fifteen players and thirty officials from all over the province participated in the Championship. In the 35kg competitions, Shahbaz Center Peshawar won Talha, Gold Charsadda’s Hamza Khan won silver while Shahbaz Center’s Dildar and Dir’s Mujeeb-ur-Rehman won bronze medals.
Abdul Wali of Haripur won gold in 45kg competitions, Nisar Ahmed of Sarfraz Center Peshawar won silver while Moeez Ahmed of Charsadda and Akash of TVC won bronze medals. Zubair Ahmed of Sarfraz Center won silver, Inayatullah and Zia-ur-Rehman won bronze medals. Emad-ud-Din won the bronze medal in the 75kg class while Arshad Khan of Haripur won gold, Gul Rehman won silver, Obaid-ur-Rehman of Nowshera and Samiullah of Haripur won bronze medals. Sahibzada Alhadi performed the duties of Supreme Judge along with ten more referees assisted, DSO Zakiullah Khan Baba and other personalities distributed prizes among the players.
