Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran beat Shahi Masjid Chitral XI team in Soccer Cup

Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran Bara Gate Peshawar Football team recorded victory against Darul Uloom Shahi Masjid Chitral Football team in the ongoing Madras and Minority Football Cup being played here at Qayyum Sports Complex on Friday.
Assistant Commissioner Samia Marwat, Director NADRA Sana Ullah, former international footballer and ex-national team skipper Arshad Khan, Organizing Secretary Haji Hidayat Ullah, players, officials and a large number of spectators were also present.
The match started at a fast tempo and both Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran Bara Gate Peshawar and Darul Uloom Shahi Masjid Chitral raided each other’s territory with some fine attacking moves.
Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran Peshawar won the match 5-0 with Qari Sohail and Qari Aftab scoring one goal each in the first 11th minute. Qari Sohail first took the lead in the 4th minute while Qari Aftab netted another goal in the 11th minute through a field attempt.
Taking 2-0, Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran lost some edge over the match and on the other hand Darul Uloom Shahi Masjid Chitral also kept up pressure and succeeded in leveling the tally 2-2 when Qazi Jamal Ul Nasir and Qari Ibrahim scored one goal each through field attempt.
At half time both the teams were locked 2-2. It was the second half when Qari Sharifullah scored the third goal for Darul Uloom Taleemul Quran by dodging three defenders before receiving thundering applause from the sitting spectators. The goal injected new vigor in the rank of Darul Uloom Taleem ul Quran and thus Qari Aftab scored the fourth goal, his second, on the field attempt to make the tally 4-2 while center striker Qari Sohail slammed in a beautiful goal from his right winger position to make the tally 5-2. Darul Uloom Ul Quran Shahi Masjid Chitral put in some pressure to reduce the margin but failed and thus Sarul Uloom Taleem Ul Quran won the match by 5-2. The match was supervised by Akram while Dastageer Khan and Zahid.
