ANP mulls over parting ways with federal govt

ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) has started considering to part ways with the federal government. According to a private TV channel central leadership of ANP held meeting in Islamabad under Aimal Wali Khan. The participants exchanged views on the promises made with coalition partners and their implementation. Sources disclosed that ANP has withdrawn from its demand for governorship of KP. ANP leaders have given proposal to quit the government alliance. However Aimal Wali Khan has summoned the meeting of central leadership after Eid ul Azha for taking final decision. Sources further said ANP leaders have given the powers to party chief on the matter of parting ways with government alliance. ANP leadership is of the view that not a single promise made by the government has been fulfilled and ANP has not been taken into confidence in connection with any government decision. Online
