These views were expressed by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister KP Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif during his polio awareness statement on Thursday. Special Assistant for Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that the provincial government was working to eradicate polio. “We strongly condemn the attack on polio teams and police in South and North Waziristan,” he added. Some parents refused to vaccinate their children due to fear of anti-polio campaign groups, which was why about 12 cases have been reported in KP. Mr Saif said that the government was using all its resources to eradicate the disease for good. People should vaccinate their children against polio without any fear or danger. Healthy children will make healthy Pakistan, Barrister Saif concluded. DLP Report
