LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday admitted for hearing the intra-court appeal filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) against the notification of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs) on five reserved seats. A two-member bench of the LHC, comprising of Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh and Justice Muzzamil Akhtar Shabbir, will start hearing of the petition day after tomorrow. In compliance with the LHC order, the ECP had issued a notification of PTI MPAs on July 6, 2022. These included three seats for women and two for minorities. DNA
